Theory Module:
*Detailed explanation of the principles of sound and ultrasonic waves
*Laws and phenomena of the acoustic field and types of ultrasonic waves
*Types of display screens used
*Types of ultrasonic testing and scanning methods
*Types of equipment used in ultrasonics
*Types of specimens and calibration methods
*Defect waveforms
*Defect evaluation methods, plotting the DAC curve, and how to apply it

Standards Module:
*Study of related standards and codes (ASME Sec V, ASME B31.3, ASME Sec VIII, API 1104)

Practical Module:
-Understanding instrument commands and functions
-How to connect probes
-How to set up/configure the instrument
-Performing calibration
-Plotting the evaluation curve
-Sketching the geometries to be inspected and creating an inspection plan
-Testing specimens of various shapes and different thicknesses (weld and corrosion samples)
